Microsoft has just announced for Windows 9 they will remove the right click and replace it with a 2 second left click depress. This way people on desktops and tablets get the same experience!
even if they do that it would not be mind blowing as this is a feature that was added in the original Windows CE days. it became used to it and was surprised when modern smart phone OS's did not use it .
cute, but this would actually be the complete opposite of the approach Windows 8 took - it consistently uses different mouse and touch controls for each action, each optimized for the input method (e.g., swipe from top/bottom is right click not drag from top/bottom, swipe from left/right is move to corner not drag from left/right, scroll using scrollbar or scrollwheel not click-and-drag, etc.). Some (crazy) people have even complained about this wanting to click-and-drag to scroll and so on.
That ain't happening
I don't think this will happen. I don't even think it's true.
This is the same as butchering their work staff lol
no rightclick makes every damned mouse available right now usseless xD
Even their software tools for programming use rightclick everywhere >.>
This is for sure a random made up story.

Oh you, Warwagon... lol
That would be awful if they did that. It was hard enough getting used to CTRL+Click on the Mac before you could change it.

The next version of windows will be called Os X.

Win9 Desktop 'insert version here'
Win9 Tablet 'insert version here'
I wouldn't think there'd be much confusion in which version the end user would buy, and everyone who does find right click useful get to keep the setting..
