For someone like me who enjoys playing combat games, finding a game with a good weapon selection, a good story, and good graphics can sometimes be really hard.

With so many combat games on the market, Call of Duty has always managed to exceed all of my expectations with each new game released in the series.

Very recently, a new game was released in the Call of Duty series called Modern Warfare 2. It hasn’t been long since the release of Modern Warfare 2, and it has already become my favorite combat game.

It has all the elements needed to make a good combat game, an interesting storyline, great gameplay, a wide range of weapons, and some amazing graphics.

Today I will be talking about Modern Warfare 2, and to be specific, I will be talking about my favorite weapon to use in Modern Warfare 2, which is the Kastov 74u.

The Kastov 74u is one of the best assault rifles in the game. However, the rifle alone would not be able to deal much damage, but when combined with the right loadouts, it becomes a force to be reckoned with.

The Kastov 74u is an excellent choice in almost any situation, thanks to its high levels of mobility and high damage output.

Some of the best loadouts that you can use for Kastov 74u can be as follows:

Optics: Cronen Mini Red Dot

Best Attachments for Kastov 74u in modern warfare 2

The best muzzle that you can use with Kastov 74u is Echoline GS-X Suppressor. Talking about the best optics for accuracy, then, I would suggest using Cronen Mini Red Dot and pairing it with a 1mW Laser box.

An underbarrel can be a very important attachment as it allows for the gun to be more stable and, thus, more accurate. I personally prefer using FSS Sharkfin 90 for this purpose and using True Tac Grip for better rear grip for added stability.

The damage output for Kastov 74u is already high, but with these attachments, you will be able to achieve the extra stability that is needed for close and mid-range combats.

Best Kastov 74u Loadout: Perks And Equipment

There are many loadouts and attachments that are available in Modern Warfare 2, but you can only use 5 of those attachments at once. You can decide which of these attachments you want to use depending on your style of playing.

You can use an extended magazine so you can carry more ammunition, or you can use a different barrel or muzzle for better aim and force.

Other than different equipment, there are many different perks that you can also attach with the Kastov 74u to improve your performance in Modern Warfare 2.

The top perks that I personally use and would recommend you to use as well are, double time, battle hardened, fast hands, and ghost.

Double Time:

Tactical Sprint’s duration is doubled with Double Time, and the crouching movement speed is increased by 30%. Double Time is automatically unlocked at level one, so players won’t need to grind for it. Given that moving quickly is essential when navigating the chaotic battlefield, this perk is quite helpful.

Battle Hardened:

Battle Hardened functions as a hybrid of Tac Resist/Tactical Mask and Hard Wired from earlier games, decreasing the effectiveness of flash, stun, EMP, and gas effects.

Prior to the 1.14. 0 Perk rebalancing update, it had no effect on the immunity to Snapshot Grenades or the reduction of the effects of the Gas Grenade.

Fast Hands:

The fast hands perk enables you to perform your assembly and reloading tasks faster compared to regular ones.

Ghost:

By using Ghost, you become invisible to heartbeat sensors, portable radars, and UAVs. If you want to avoid detection and avoid being targeted by your adversary, you should run Ghost the majority of the time because the UAV killstreak only requires four kills.
