The Five Games That Are Leaving Game Pass
- Hearts of Iron IV: Cadet Edition (PC)
- Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition (Console, PC)
- Before We Leave (Console, PC)
- My Friend Pedro (Console, PC)
- Umurangi Generation Special Edition (Console, PC)
As I told you before, you still have time to play any of these games. As of writing this article, you have around two weeks which I think that’s plenty of time to finish at least some of them.
Some Information About The Games Departing From Xbox Game Pass
Hearts of Iron IV (Cadet Edition) is a strategy sim developed by Paradox; the game is set in a world where all the nations are up against each other the game is not as complicated as others in this genre.
A simple example would be if you want to get attacked first or are willing the start the war by making the first move, it takes about 50 hours to finish on average.
Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair (Anniversary Edition) Once in your lifetime, you have heard Danganronpa, right? It’s an anime-style visual novel set on an Island (Jabberwock Island).
Most of its story opens up when you interact with other characters and have conversations with them, but choose your words wisely as these convos will shape your story; all in all, if you are a visual novel fan, you must give it a try, this one takes about 34 hours to finish averagely.
Before We Leave is a city-building simulator with unique elements that you won’t find anywhere else in this genre; after a nuclear apocalypse, some survivors emerge from the bunkers, and you must build resources for them to survive, I think you got the idea, right? This game takes about 15 to 16 hours to complete on average.
My Friend Pedro is a very short game that you can finish in about 4 to 5 hours, and I cannot recommend this game enough. It is a 2D arcade shooter, and you must maintain your killing spree to multiply your score while performing insane stunts.
Umurangi Generation (Special Edition) I bet you have never heard of a game like this one. This one here is an FPS photography game set in Tauranga Aotearoa in New Zealand in the Retro Future; while playing, you will get a full-time photographer experience with lenses and equipment; its a must-try and the shortest game in this list that you can finish in 2 or 3 hours at max.
So these are the games that will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on May 15th, 2023, before you go, I really suggest you guys give “My Friend Pedro” and “Umurangi Generation” a try; they are both very short and insanely decent games. That’s all for today; see you guys next time.
