Warner Bros. Discovery has just released its first earning report for the First Quarter of 2023 (Q1 2023), and in that report, they have also provided the sales numbers for the Hogwarts Legacy.
According to the report, Hogwarts Legacy is the best-selling game for Warner Bros. Games year-to-date, grossing over $1 Billion in retail sales numbers and selling over 15 Million copies.
This report is again for Q1 of 2023 not only that, but Hogwarts Legacy is also their most significant release of all time.
These sales numbers are huge, considering that most users nowadays purchase their games digitally. Another thing to note here is that this report’s data only include the sales of the first quarter of this year (March 31st).
Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world action RPG set in the 1800s in the Harry Potter universe; you play as an exceptionally talented wizard who joins Hogwarts in the final and fifth year.
But finds himself in a sticky situation with his professor against the goblins who are preparing to wage war against the wizardkind.
Hogwarts Legacy is one of the best harry potter games to date, with so much to offer in this beautiful world. The game has recently been released on the old-gen console “Playstation 4 and Xbox One,” increasing the player base in enormous numbers; not only that, but the game is also coming to Nintendo Switch on July 25th, 2023.
The game is a beauty on PC. I have tried the PC version when it was launched, but as with every other Windows release, this too had some flaws, so I decided to finish the game on my PlayStation 5.
But Avalanche Software supported the game very well, and the game was patched over time. The most recent patch had fixed over 500 bugs which makes it more than ever playable. They also added an Arahnophoia mode toggle, which replaces and removes elements related to the spiders.
