Hogwarts Legacy’s Six-Month Switch Delay: Worth the Wait?
The video game delaying crisis has hit the gaming community again and this time it’s of the most anticipated launches on Nintendo Switch. Hogwarts Legacy has been delayed for a heartbreaking six months the new release date is November 14, 2023.
This news was delivered by the official Hogwarts Legacy Twitter account, the tweet stated that; Hogwarts Legacy launches on Nintendo Switch on 11/14/23. We know fans are looking forward to playing on Switch, therefore creating the best possible experience is our top priority. Thank you for your patience.
This official statement does seem to confirm that the developers are not satisfied with the game’s current performance on the Nintendo Switch, and they want to keep it in the oven for a little more time, and as always want to deliver a perfectly developed title,
This delay could be occurring due to the Switch being drastically weaker as compared to other consoles in the market, in my opinion, I think this is the main issue they are facing, to optimize such a huge game for a Nintendo Switch like hybrid-console.
While the Switch port is getting delayed, Hogwarts Legacy on other platforms is gearing up for a DLC release which will add more depth to its current storyline, nothing has been officially announced by developers but a little teaser with the actor “Tom Felton” who played Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter series has sparked this fire.
You Switch users might be asking yourself is this the final delay? Well, honestly, we’ll just have to wait and see, because Avalanche Software had delayed the PS4 and Xbox One versions twice.
But they did manage to make the end product insanely well-polished, and for that reason, the gamers were very pleased, and I think we will see the same thing here the final Hogwarts Legacy switch port is going to be amazing we just have to wait a bit more.
You folks might know that I had previously reported that Hogwarts Legacy is one of the biggest launches of 2023 and also the best-selling video game for Warner Bros. A report came out a few weeks ago revealing that the game has sold 15 million copies and crossed a whopping $1 Billion.
I do hope this is the last delay for Hogwarts Legacy’s Switch port, and this ends today’s story you can also some other interesting articles mentioned below. See you all next time.
