Star Wars Jedi: Survivor just launched few days ago, and almost all of my friends are playing it, and they are going on and on about how it has some of the best graphics and all, hearing all this from my friends, I went to the store and picked a copy for myself.
Boy, oh boy, I’m enjoying this game the graphics are phenomenal, and the gameplay experience is on the same level as well, I’m playing on my PS5 because I want to platinum this game, but I’m definitely gonna be trying it on my PC too, to see how it performs on my Nvidia RTX 3090.
Fun fact: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was eating 21GB of VRAM while playing on Windows (holy moly).
Now on to the topic, the game is crunching some great sale numbers in the UK, despite it having 35% lower physical sales than the first installment Jedi: Survivor is the second biggest launch in the UK this year! (yay, and honestly, I myself, too am currently in love with this game)
The GFKs UK software report isn’t out yet, but this information was reported by the GamesIndustry head Christopher Dring, he reported that the Hogwarts legacy is still at the number one spot, but Jedi: Survivor has surpassed the Resident Evil 4 Remake placing it on the third spot.
Christopher Dring also stated that the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the 8th biggest physical launch of 2023 as of right now in the UK. He also dropped some other information about Dead Island 2’s sales, being dropped to 45% in the second week.
To be honest with you guys, I’m surprised that Jedi: Survivor has crossed Resident Evil 4 Remake in the launch numbers, that the game was pretty hyped up already, and a lot of people were waiting for it, now we’ll definitely be keeping an eye on the official GFKs software report, but till then this is what we have.
Here’s what Christopher Dring said on Twitter.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor UK physical sales are 35% lower than what Fallen Order managed… of course, digital has accelerated since then. It’s still the second biggest game launch of the year (behind Hogwarts, but ahead of Resi 4), and the 8th biggest physical Star Wars launch
I’m impressed to see that Dead Island 2 physical sales only dropped 45% in its second week. That’s pretty good for a AAA console gameChristopher Dring’s Tweet
So this was what Christopher reported, again we’ll have to wait and see for the GFKs report, till that you guys grab can your copy of the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows, I highly recommend you guys give it a try you won’t regret it.
